SAUGEEN SHORES
After a long, cold, lockdown filled winter we are finally experiencing a few sunny days in Port Elgin again. Our little town has officially come out of hibernation-- folks are out walking the trails again, the beach is filled with vehicles and bicycles each night at sunset, and uptown is beginning to liven. I am no exception to this pattern. I love Spring. The melting snow making way for fresh grass, the muddy, mild smells in the air (don't knock it until you've experienced a FULL winter on Lake Huron), the overcast haze slowly disappearing once and for all. It's these very signs that make Spring such a hopeful time of year (for me at least).
So naturally, to celebrate, I had to book a Golden Hour beach session.
I took Teaghan and Tay to a quiet strip of beach with a backpack full of beers & blankets. We spent the evening watching the sun go down on the sand, and then spending dusk with our toes in the water.
The outcome was nothing short of epic.
